I was hoping for a D20 treatment of something akin to Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser or Conan; a game where the PC's aren't basically pseudo-medieval Superheroes as they approach mid-to-high level, but rather have to fight tooth and nail for virtually their entire careers. This is easy to do because though we have been forgiven, we do sucumb to the devil's temptations to have fear in our hearts. It actually hurts athletic performance and doesn't appear to prevent injury. If you are self-learning, you got to be aware of pacing yourself so that you can be adequate with progressing lessons.
