I received it and so far I'm half way done. (Confirmation bias?) I learned a couple of new things. Fire this and where's this and too much of this, etc. It changed the the way I eat and introduced me to foods I had't heard of.. For me, it fell short of that.. This is the definitive book on a very interesting subject. If you're thirsty, drink. (If you triple that minimum level, you drop your risk of premature rate further, but only by another 4%). Immediately.
This book is more interesting than you would expect. Kathy Scogna is no slouch herself, and an organizational and word and language wonder. Grimes.
In this we see the top of the culinary world in action, amazingly from an unencumbered inside view. I picked this up at my local WW meeting and have been posting the things I've made on fb to the delight of my friends, both weight conscious and not so much. What kind of controversy is that?
In my view the book is very much too ideological and not substantial.
