SHIFTER'S SACRIFICE is the first book in Lisa Ladew's newest ONE TRUE MATE series. I now realize that confidently speaking about myself is a sign of healthy confidence. This book, like so many others in the field of selling techniques, is probably useful for people new to selling but disappointing to those with more than a few years of experience. As other reviewers noted,it's very detailed about Laura's description of her pain and despair,but lacks major info about the illness itself,as she experienced it.
I know that most accounts about anorexia that have been published in the last couple of years are very sensitive about not revealing weights or calorie amounts the sufferer ingested(for fear of "triggering" people with E.D's),but this was going too far.We have no real idea how far she deteriorated physically,or what exactly was going through her
