In northern Uganda, an American special forces team is decimated by a group of normally peaceful farmers. Video of the attack shows even women and children possessing almost supernatural speed and strength, consumed with a rage that makes them immune to pain, fear, and all but the most devastating injuries.

Covert-One's top operative, army microbiologist Colonel Jon Smith, is sent to investigate the attack and finds evidence of a parasitic infection that for centuries has been causing violent insanity and then going dormant. A first class production!

Reviewed by Tim Janson. Everything is clearly presented and explained in a way that anyone can grasp. The opening piece -- a brief verse and drab portrait -- reads simply thus: Frivolity, at the edge of a Moral Swamp, hears Hymn-Singing in the Distance and dons the Galoshes of Remorse. I probably would've sent it back if I didn't find it a hassle. It is simply an excellent resource!. There are photos in every chapter, and many tables filled with comparisons and information. If you are into sports, you would really enjoy this book. Included in those is Malcolm. It should be in the library of every school. I like that - it makes her more real, not just a prop for acting out the photographer's fantasies. There is one for mistletoe bunting that uses felt and beads, rather than fabric triangles, and there is another using yo-yo flowers. I got an A in the class. Nice collection of really thought-provoking science fiction stories from EC's heyday. Volume 2
