This text provides students with a thorough, but concise understanding of cost concepts, cost behavior, and cost accounting techniques as applied to manufacturing and service businesses. The principles and procedures of job order costing, process costing, and standard costing are presented in a logical yet brief manner.

Editorial : I have used this book for two years now and I really like the fact that I can give students a good solid introduction to the concepts without overwhelming them with the larger, more difficult texts I have used in the past.

I found the end-of-chapter materails to be very good in tems of both quality and quantity. The exercises and problems are thorough in demonstrating the objectives and in providing multiple opportunities for practice, application, and reinforcement of those objectives.

The end-of-chapter materials are great. The questions are very helpful for studying. The exercises and problems are plentiful.

Covers all the basics of calculus within the nonstandard framework and parts of functional analysis.. But the good news is that reductions in exercise don't have to strip you of your hard-won health and fitness gains as long as you don't stop completely (once a week seems to be enough until you can get back on track).

As a history, the book is wonderful. Lindstrom has trawled the world assembling bits of data and case studies which help build a big-picture view for those of us not exposed 24 hours a day to the changes in the digital arena. What Chris A accomplished here was a humanization of those whom the media overlooked or relegated to the sidebars. The message of the book seems to be, if you are reactive, obstructive and slow to change, consider yoursel
