I like that - it makes her more real, not just a prop for acting out the photographer's fantasies. If you liked Mossflower it's a definite must-buy.. I now recommend this text to my students over others available covering the same material.. The chapters represent advanced treatments by experts from Europe, US, and Asia. This story was so different from other shifter series' that I've read. Illustrations are charming and this is a great resource both for reading aloud and for young learners to read on their own. I am currently taking a jewelry-making/metal-working class and I bought this book and The Work Bench Guide to Jewelry Techniques by Anastasia Young (which is much more thorough) for supplemental reading as I went through the class and half-way through it, I quit reading it and now just look at the pictures for inspiration.
