As far as efforts at humor go, Sartwell's book is a rather lightweight undertaking. Meander through this peculiar, if amusing, collection of vignettes from the office (or the store, etc.), and you'll find recounted all manner of wretched work experiences. For example, a real estate agent acts as a courier for her boss and realizes only after being arrested at the customs counter that she has been set up to smuggle drugs. Also, there is the bookkeeper asked to feed the dog belonging to her bosses; before leaving for vacation, though, they fail to tell her the dog has died. Other, more typically obnoxious bosses can be found within these pages as well, but for the most part the book has a curious type of humor that will appeal to some readers more than others. Lest you think that this is some sort of Republican rah-rah book, I should p
