Thailand (Ask about Asia)
I am an adult learner and have found as I progressed from really basic music to this book along with companion green book. It won't go into how to systematically meet guys/girls, get over depression, or how to do well on an interview. There friendship weaving a dangerous line and Alex's wife call them on it. There was the bicycle shop guy wanting to be original and afraid of settling down. Those lectures(kathas) were so truthful, enlightening and bringing you so close to God(The God which is only One regardless which relegion/faith you believe in). I don't know their names, so I simply call them "black-and-yellow", "black-and-red" and "small-and-orange".
Did I mention that I intensely dislike them? ;-)
Still, you learn new things every day. A paragraph on the 1950s, half a page on the 1960s, a couple of case studies, a paragraph each on the 1980s and 1990s, and whammo, by page 10 we are into the age of the internet. Yoga is simply an effective practice to help you
